Students of VAAS had the chance to get introduce to video mapping technics thanks the skills of a famous street artist and video mapper from Belgium, Mike Latona.

During 3 weeks, they practiced the different steps of production from the original picture or drawing, to special effects compositing, editing, video production, and of course practice the final mapping on different supports, thanks to a open source free software named MAP MAP.

Mike’s target was to introduce, practice and help on supervising the first installation of video mapping that will be presented during the open days at Phare Ponleu Selpak, the next coming 7th of July.

His patience, skills and warm attitude touched every students and open new gate of creativity and new perspective of  work.
